Since 1987 the Owner Builder Center has been promoting professional contractors and helping people connect with top quality contractors. As you know, the most important ingredient for a successful building project is the actual architect, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors who do the work. We only allow professional suppliers, architects, contractors and subcontractors to become members of our plan room.
The Bidding Service is a free service to the public and only charges its members $225 every six months with a $100 application and setup fee. We are not trying to make money from our members; we support you and can be a major part of your marketing. People who are building or remodeling their homes submit plans into our offices. We email you notice including contact information. You can check out the plans for the purpose of preparing a bid. Our relationship is an arms length distance. We do not expect nor will we accept any type of kickback.
If you are interested in becoming part of the Owner Builder Center team, download the application and fax it to us 916/961-8780 along with a copy of your workers compensation insurance and general liability insurance certificates. We will verify your information and you can begin bidding projects.
